There is another week at TIME OUT for our current challenge - CASE-ing the wonderful Julia Alterman from Just One More Card. Here is her very fun CASE card:
Our great Guest Designer is with us again this week - Jenny from Craftmosh is sharing another one of her gorgeous designs!
So here is how I was inspired by Julia's card:
I think that it is pretty obvious what I CASE-d on this card :)
The airplane and banner are from Avery Elle and were coloured with Copics and highlighted with Wink of Stella. I then masked the images and the borders and sponged the sky background using some hand made cloud masks. The 75 was die cut using Lawn Fawn number dies - then backed with adhesive and filled with microbeads (I love the texture of microbeads!) The rectangle die is from 'lil Inkers - inlaid with teal cardstock - to mimic the hatched border on Julia's card.
The 75 was not chosen at random - I made this card for my Father-In-Law's 75th birthday that is coming up.
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute and so fun, Jill ... love that microbead 75 ... just want to reach out and touch all that fabulous texture! Your FIL will love it! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing detail here Jill. I love the way you created the 75 and used those beads plus the frame inlaid with the teal-so very creative. Also very good colouring-the banner is coloured so subtly but looks amazing x
ReplyDeleteSuch a light and "airy" card; great sponging! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your father in law. This is a fabulous card!
ReplyDeleteWow 75! Happy birthday to him! Fab card Jill - the sky is wonderful, very inspiring, I need to have a go at that soon! I think your father in law will love this.
