So - I saw that split butterfly picture and I immediately thought of doing a gatefold card (which I have never done!) - her it is from the front:
And here is a view of the inside of the card where I also added a watercoloured panel with a gold embossed greeting from the Altenew Halftone Thanks set. I used this same set to gold emboss the greeting on the black belly band that I created to close the card.
Our wonderful guest designer for this challenge is Bobby from Bits and Pieces; Bobby is regular TIME OUT player and has guest designed with us in the past - we are so thrilled to have her join us again this week :)|

Gosh I have no idea how to make a fold card but this sure looks amazing-a card full of drama. Adore the grunge look of this butterfly and love the dramatic look of how you coloured it. And what a difference to the soft colours at the centre. Just love it Jill x
ReplyDeleteWow, Jill ... bold, striking, dramatic ... what an awesome butterfly ... and a fabulous layout! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card. I love how you used a gate fold...I haven't thought about that technique in a while. Your butterfly is so pretty, as is the inside of your card.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colours! And the most beautiful butterflystamp eber (have it in my collection :) ) Great to use this kind of card with it! Hugs, Gerrina
