I hope everyone is staying safe right now - and maybe getting in a little bit of crafty time. If you are looking for some inspiration, we have a great challenge at TIME OUT - we are asking you to create a project inspired by this bold photo:
Our challenge is sponsored by Uniko who are offering the winner an in stock stamp set of their choice :)
For this challenge, I was inspired by the fabric on the back of the chair so I pulled out one of my most used stamp sets, English Country Garden Butterflies from Uniko. I stamped the butterflies in a grid pattern across the whole card paneland the coloured the background with a yellow Copic. I finished the card with a die cut greeting from Honey Been (black cardstock on vellum). I debated adding Nuvo drops or sequins but I finally decided to leave it just so.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gosh I wondered how you did this! I thought it was yellow card and white butterflies on top! Super way to be inspires and what amazing copic colouring. The die looks fab and I think you did the right call not adding anything else, think it would have made it too much and spoil one stunning card x
ReplyDeleteLove the way you were inspired by the fabric! This is one of my fave stamp sets too. The black and white stamping pops wonderfully from the yellow base! xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, Jill. Good call to leave the drops or sequins off. It is perfect just the way it is.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty!! I LOVE the yellow with the black and white butterflies. Simply stunning card.
