We have another fun challenge this fortnight at TIME OUT - we are challenging you to create a project inspired by the theme of Season. with an optional twist of colouring.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Poppy Stamps - they are generously offering the winner of the random draw a $20 gift voucher :)
For my project, I decided to use some products from our sponsor (or their sister companies) and create a winter season card. I love the look of white embossing paired with gold on kraft so that is what I went with. The large peace is from Birch Press Design - Simple Peace; each of the layers was cut from gold cardstock. I white embosed some Concord & 9th pine needles and gold embossed a small sub-sentiment onto the card panel. I also die cut a gold frame and inlaid it. The final step was cutting some poinsettias (Memory Box Circle Poinsettia Frame )from red and green card stock and layering them on top of the white embossed needles and the adhered gold PEACE die cut.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Jill
What a way to showcase this die-wonderful idea to use the white embossing with gold-never thought of this before but works a treat. This card has such impact using that sentiment and frame just make it stand out superbly. And the placement of the poinsettias is perfect (got your lovely email will reply as soon as I can-but great to hear from you xx)
