TIME OUT #50 - Home Sweet Home Reminder

If you haven't played along with our current  Time Out Home Sweet Home challenge yet, you still have time to create something inspired by this gorgeous picture:

We also have a great guest designer with us again this week, Cornelia from Stempel Spass always has fun and creative designs to share so I highly recommend stopping by her blog.

Here's is my card:

To create this card, I used the negative die cuts from the MFT Flutter of Butterflies to create stencils. I used Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to sponge in the butterflies and then used HA Newspaper Background stamp to add the print. I die cut the W&W Thanks and used some Be Creative tape to add teal glitter to the negative space. I finished it off with a few glittery pearls....

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Jill

  1. That kaleidoscope of fluttery butterflies is so soft and subtle, Jill ... such a fab contrast to the brilliantly shimmery sentiment ... gorgeous! So glad to hear how you were inspired! Hugs, Anita :)

  2. Such a cool idea to use the butterfly stencil and then add text and wow to the glitter card added to the negative die...will remember this!

  3. Love how you stenciled and then stamped to get those butterflies. I never would have thought of that. And, where the butterflies overlap, it looks so cool.
