TIME OUT#114 - Photo Inspiration

For our TIME OUT challenge this week, we are asking you to create projects inspired by this picture:




So much inspiration in this picture - I thought about using that beautiful rattan texture but decided to focus on the picture above the sofa and came up with this card:



A really simple design - I used a bird from Stamplorations Trendy Birds and an embossing pen to draw the line before heat embossing in clear EP. I then used shimmery watercolours to paint the background. I ironed off the melted EP to make a smooth finish.

  2. my goodness this is so close to the painting and what a cool idea to use the embossing pen! Got mine out the other day for the first time-they are great-thanks for giving me some ideas of how to use it!

  5. Your backgrouns is so awesome. I love the way it mimics the wall piece in the inspiration photo. Wonderful idea to use that wonderful bird. Such a great take on the inspiration, Jill. I love it.
