Cat-itude

A quick card share today for a couple of challenges:

When I saw that the cue card at Addicted to CAS was cat, I knew that I had to play with my Impression Obsession cat dies. I die cut them from six different colours of Simon Says glitter cardstock, glued them to the card base, and I went about creating my apartment building scene. I used a Your Next Stamp 'Large Peek A Boo' die, some careful measuring, and some partial die cutting to create the windows in the panel. I then stamped the MFT Cat-itude greeting, and embossed the brick pattern with a Darice embossing folder. If you look closely, you will see that the greeting lines p perfectly on the bricks - I would love to say that I planned this but really I just got lucky :)

I adhered the embossed card panel onto the base with some foam tape so that every cat had it own "window". I really liked how the card turned out so I made 3 more for my cat-loving friends -including this one that featured some bolder colours:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. This was a very creative way to display those cats, Jill. The brick adds great texture and the feel of the building. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Addicted to CAS.
